About Jobriver
We make the IT job market transparent.
At Jobriver we believe: anyone working in IT deserves a job that really fits – and every company deserves the people who move it forward. That is why we focus on exactly one market and make it transparent: tech stack, remote share and salary at a glance.
To date, 25,655 applications have been sent via Jobriver – to 7,804 active jobs in 161 locations.

Our story
The story of Jobriver begins with two brothers who built tech companies themselves. With bitseven, HausHirsch and OFFMARKET24, Andrzej and Viktor Fink experienced again and again how hard it is to find the right IT people – and how little generic job boards understand about what makes a good tech job.
So they built a platform that does only one thing: IT jobs. With tech stack filters, honest salary information and data that anyone may use freely.
// Filter by tech stack, not by keywords
const results = await jobriver.search({
stack: ['Python'],
model: ['remote', 'hybrid'],
salary: 'visible',
});

Built by IT people.
For IT people.
We understand the tech industry because we are part of it. That is why Jobriver only lists IT jobs – with filters that generalist boards do not have.
- Technology first. Modern tools instead of endless forms.
- Transparency. No hidden fees, no tricks.
- Specialisation. Only IT jobs, done properly.
- People first. Applicants and employers count equally.
Open data instead of gut feeling.
Jobriver analyses its own job market and shares the results: remote share, in-demand technologies and salaries by role – in the monthly IT job market report, freely quotable under CC BY 4.0.

Who is behind Jobriver?
Jobriver was founded in 2019 by the brothers Andrzej Fink (Co-Founder & CTO) and Viktor Fink (Co-Founder & CEO). Andrzej is an IT and proptech entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in web development, process automation and AI; Viktor is a tech entrepreneur and speaker with several ventures (bitseven, HausHirsch, OFFMARKET24).
How long has Jobriver been around?
Jobriver was founded in 2019 and has since specialised in the German IT job market. Today, besides the IT job search, the platform includes an IT salary comparison, a monthly IT labour market report, an IT glossary and career guides.
What makes Jobriver different from other job boards?
Jobriver is 100% specialised in IT – every job listing is an IT job. On top of that come filters that generalists do not offer: by tech stack (e.g. Java, Python, React, AWS), experience level and remote option. Transparent salary data and a monthly labour market report additionally make the IT job market measurable.
What data and content does Jobriver publish?
In addition to the job listings, Jobriver publishes a monthly IT labour market report with remote rate, top technologies, top cities and salaries by role – freely citable under CC BY 4.0, with PDF download and archive. There is also an IT salary comparison, an IT glossary with over 1,150 technical terms and practical career guides.
Is Jobriver really free for candidates?
Yes. For IT professionals Jobriver is completely free – browsing all vacancies, setting up job alerts and applying cost nothing. Costs only apply to companies that post job listings.
What kind of jobs can I find on Jobriver?
IT roles only: from software development through DevOps, cloud and data to IT security and product roles. Every listing can be filtered by tech stack (e.g. Java, Python, React, AWS), experience level, location and remote option.
Does Jobriver offer remote and hybrid jobs?
Yes. Every role is labelled as on-site, hybrid or remote, so remote and hybrid jobs can be filtered specifically. A dedicated overview of location-independent IT jobs is available at jobriver.de/remote-it-jobs.
How can my company post a vacancy?
Companies post job listings directly via jobriver.de/job-inserieren. An overview of packages and pricing is available at jobriver.de/preise; for larger volumes or integrations a REST API is also available.
May I cite Jobriver's data and reports?
Yes. The figures from the monthly IT labour market report are licensed under CC BY 4.0 and may be freely cited and reused with attribution – including PDF download and archive at jobriver.de/it-arbeitsmarkt-report.
